Northam’s Melissa Briones will participate in Magkaisa (Unite!), an Online Tribute Concert.
The online concert was organized by the Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation (PCCF), a non-profit organization founded by the late Sen. Tobias Enverga Jr., the first Canadian of Filipino descent to be elected in the City of Toronto and to be appointed in the red chamber. The PCCF is also the proud organizer of the Pinoy Fiesta & Trade Show Toronto and the Miss Philippines Canada Pageants with a Cause.
The Online Tribute Concert seeks to honour selfless Filipino-Canadian frontline workers who dedicate themselves day-in and day-out in the service of the community, especially in this pandemic. They are heroes, our bagong bayani.
The event also marks PCCF’s 10th Anniversary.
The event will be live-streamed on Saturday June 27, 2020 at 5:00 PM EST (2:00PM PST) via Facebook and YouTube.
