Recap: Advisorly Seminar on Estate Planning and Tax Minimization

Last Saturday, on June 8th, Northam Law had the privilege of participating in an insightful seminar hosted by Advisorly, and we extend our sincere gratitude to all who joined us for this enriching session! Our founder and lawyer, Melissa Briones, was among the esteemed speakers who shared invaluable expertise on essential topics such as estate planning, tax minimization strategies, and more.

The event provided attendees with a wealth of knowledge and practical advice to navigate the complexities of estate planning and taxation. Melissa, alongside other esteemed experts from various fields, offered key perspectives and guidance, empowering participants to make informed decisions about their financial futures.

In addition to the presentations, the seminar featured an engaging Q&A session, where attendees had the opportunity to pose their burning questions to the panel of experts. Here are a few examples of questions that were addressed:

  • What happens if I die without a Will?
  • What are the pros and cons of adding or removing someone from title to my property?
  • Can you disinherit your spouse or children?

Melissa addressed these and many other inquiries, providing attendees with practical advice and insights tailored to their individual needs and circumstances. To delve deeper into these topics and explore frequently asked questions about wills and estates, we invite you to read our blog post titled “Frequently Asked Questions about Wills and Estates” here.

The collaborative nature of the seminar allowed for a diverse range of expertise to be shared, ensuring attendees received a comprehensive understanding of the topics discussed. From legal considerations to financial strategies, the seminar covered a breadth of crucial information, tailored to meet the needs of our community.

At Northam Law, we’re committed to supporting educational initiatives that empower our community members to make informed decisions about their legal and financial affairs. The seminar with Advisorly exemplified this commitment, providing attendees with the knowledge and resources necessary to plan for their futures confidently.

As we reflect on the success of this event, we’re excited about the prospect of future opportunities to engage with our community and continue providing valuable insights and support. Stay tuned for updates on upcoming events and educational opportunities—we look forward to continuing this journey of empowerment together!

Thank you once again to everyone who participated in making this seminar a success. Your engagement and enthusiasm are truly appreciated!
